theyre good friends now but when they first met jade didnt like nepeta on the account that she reeked of cat
this is because nepeta has 4 cats she actually owns and like 10 more that are strays but hang around her house on a regular basis
(i havent found out how they actually met yet i really just wanted a reason to draw these two ok)
