This is probably the first Jade I’ve drawn that I am more or less satisfied with (though obviously this is subject to change when I get some temporal space from its production).  Naturally, it’s one of Jade with most of her face obscured.  :/ 

Scene (+creative liberties) from Frost and Frogs by urbanAnchorite; lyrics from Gravity by Bic Runga.  I almost went with a Vienna Teng song because Vienna Teng is my headcanon PB for Kanaya, but I think I tend to overuse her lyrics.  I can’t help it!  They are just so appropriate for everything I draw. 

It’s possible I have a problem. 

I suppose it’s worth noting that this is part of my ongoing effort to stop coloring things with so much freaking brown.  I still need to work my way up to purple and neon color schemes, but…this has almost no brown in it!  Good job, me.  (…even if I had to put them in a bleached-out void in order to restrain my urges.)
